Leogang is situated in Tyrol, within approximately one hour drive south of Salzburg. Throughout the region of Leogang you‘ll find spectacular alpine scenes, never-ending single tracks and four lifts – all contribute to making this wonderful region a pure heaven for All-mountain riders, while the XC riders will find a wide selection of bike trails which cross the valley.

Bike riding in Leogang is geared towards two main types of bike riders:

Calm trail bike riders:
Peaceful trails which cross the valley on paved roads and wide dirt paths with minor inclines.

Skilled XC / Allmountain bike riders:

Climbs – on lifts or trails. 
Descents – mostly by single-tracks with no major drops, yet scattered with roots.
The largest bike park in Europe – FR and DH runs which any skilled rider can ride down (the only question is – at what speed?). At the bottom of the paths there is an enormous amount of bike amusement facilities – ramps, skinnis, berms and more. The entrance to the park and the use of its facilities is free of charge.

All bike paths are well marked, yet for those who wish to focus on riding single-tracks it‘s recommended to hire a guide for as many days possible.    

Biking season in Leogang begins towards the end of June and comes to an end at the end of September. The weather in Leogang is pleasant during the day and chilly in the evening. On many days it rains from the afternoon to the following morning and sometimes all day long.
